It’s very true, Cyn. I have no idea what this whole mind-set is all about, but I suspect it has more to do with cultural Christianity than any real faith in Jesus or an understanding of his teachings. It hurts my heart. I look at their actions and hear the things they are saying and it just hurts.

It hurts my heart too. I keep wondering if our society can find it’s way back or will this get worse. I try to remind myself that the majority of people are truely compassionate, forgiving and empathetic. I have to keep believing that.
