Grats

Well, I thought I’d get some hardcore blogging and housekeeping done over the long weekend. I also thought I’d have a one on one hike with my son & the dogs while the girls spent the night with dad, that we’d all go to a friend’s BBQ and make one last trek to the wave pool… but I was too exhausted to do much but move from bed to stove to chair. So I caught up on sleep, mostly. Read a little online, read a little offline.

I have many things on my mind that I wish I could articulate. Things about parenting, pets, politics… but my mind is mush.

But this I can articulate… I am well and truly blessed.  Three crazy kids, three wacky mutts, friends and family who remain close at heart despite great distance, a church family that renews my spirit even though I have been sporadic in attendance at best, and last but certainly not least, a circle of bloggers whose lives and locales are far different from mine, but whose writings reflect so much of what I feel but rarely have the energy to say.
